Pupil Leaders
Our Pupil Leaders play an important role in school life and help ensure that every child’s voice is heard. The School Council is made up of pupils who have been elected by their class peers to represent them. Council members meet regularly to share ideas, discuss suggestions from their classes, and help make decisions that improve our school for everyone.
The School Council is also passionate about helping others. Throughout the year, they organise and lead fundraising activities, working hard towards their ambitious target of raising £1,000. The money raised will be used by the council to purchase equipment and to support charitable causes, helping pupils develop responsibility, teamwork and a strong sense of community spirit.
Our Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl are all Year 6 pupils, selected for this role in recognition of their maturity, reliability and commitment to being positive role models. They proudly represent the school by welcoming and showing visitors around, delivering assemblies, and supporting important events such as parents’ evenings and celebrations.
Through these leadership opportunities, pupils develop key life skills including teamwork, independence, emotional intelligence and vision. They learn to communicate confidently, make responsible decisions and take pride in contributing to the wider school community. Pupil leadership is an important part of our personal development offer, helping children grow into confident, motivated individuals who are well prepared for the next stage of their education and beyond.
